Panther™ 3G1
Though built to address the needs of 3-gunners everywhere, the new Panther 3G1 from DPMS Firearms, LLC will exceed even the most discerning shooter’s expectations! Highlighting the new lightweight rifle is the exceptionally accurate, 18” (black) Teflon®-coated MK-12 stainless steel heavy barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1x8 twist and finished with the muzzle stabilizing Miculek Compensator. The forged, 7075-T6 flattop A3 aluminum receiver features the hard-coat anodized per Mil Spec and black Teflon® coating customary on all DPMS rifles and houses the phosphated, Mil Spec heat-treated and plated 8620 steel bolt and carrier. The lightweight, standard length VTAC modular handguard from JP Enterprises provides the optimum cooling capacity needed in the sport of 3-gun while the single rail gas block allows for the installation of iron sights necessary in the tactical division. A tactical charging handle assembly, a necessity for those shooters utilizing optics, completes the upper assembly.
The semi-automatic lower assembly features the standard forged DPMS black Teflon®-coated, heat-treated and plated per Mil Spec, 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver complete with a JP Adjustable trigger and aluminum trigger guard. An ERGO Sure Grip and Magpul 6-position, telescoping CTR stock with friction locking mechanism completes the lower assembly. The Panther 3G1 comes standard with two (2) 30-rd magazines, a cleaning kit and hard case for storage.
