Sgt. Mark Jacobson of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department Tests His New LRT-SASS

Earlier this month I received my LR308 SASS. I'll sum it up by saying it was worth the wait. I just recently finished the recommended initial break-in (first 125 rounds) and have been getting consistent 1/2 to 3/4 minute groups with both Federal 168 Match and Hornady 110 TAP rounds, with the tightest group to date measuring .24". I can happily say that it's shooting just about PAR with my issued rifle (trued 700 action, McMillan A5 stock & Hart SS match barrel).

Sometime in the next couple of weeks I'll be going back out to the range to take it out to 600, which is the farthest I can get at our range. I'm also waiting for delivery of a few more ammo types, but I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, thatks for a great rifle and keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

Sgt. Mark Jacobson
